Celebrating Cramond is a community fair organised by the Cramond Association as part of the Platinum Jubilee weekend. It celebrates everything that is exciting in Cramond, Barnton, Cammo and brings together a diverse mixture of groups, clubs and associations all of whom contribute to making Cramond and the surrounding area such a unique and wonderful place to live.
Celebrating Cramond takes place during the Platinum Jubilee Weekend, on Saturday 4th June, from 12 noon to 4 pm. It will take place on the Cramond Foreshore, in the pedestrian area immediately opposite the Cramond Bistro and extending to the bollards opposite Cramond Village.
The Cramond Association is taking the lead in the event and is particularly keen to highlight the fantastic activity delivered by its various campaign groups - including the Woodlands Group, The Walled Garden Group, The History Section, The Friends of Cramond Campus and the Events & Activities section. We are also bringing together other organisations - such as Cramond & Barnton Community Council, Cramond Heritage Trust, Cramond Kirk, Lauriston Farm and Friends of Cammo - plus more specialist groups and activities.
We want to engage with local people and visitors to tell them about all the great things going on in our local area. But most importantly, we want people to get involved and get active in the huge amount of local initiatives going on right now – whether its cleaning up our woodland area, creating an accessible Walled Garden area at Cramond Kirk, finding out about what’s going on at the former Cramond Campus or simply coming along to our packed events and activities sections.
We Look Forward to Seeing You There!
